The first guest of our talk series was Prof. Dr. Kudret Armağan. We met on Sunday morning, 6 September, at Tablo Restaurant in Essen: a talk on motivation, plenty of questions and a long breakfast table.
A community isn't made strong by member count but by shared knowledge. That is what ATA Talks is for: a guest who has gone far in their field, a table full of people and plenty of questions.
The talk was no one-way lecture. Our guest walked between the tables, the questions kept coming and breakfast ran longer than planned. Thank you to everyone who filled the room and to Tablo Restaurant for hosting us.
